Why it exists
Denwyn is built by Alex, the founder, who lives in Europe, invests through EU brokers, and wanted one place to see his whole net worth and how far it sits from his own FIRE number. Every tool he tried assumed a US retirement account, a US tax code and a US dollar. So he built the one he wanted, and kept using it for his own plan while opening it to everyone else.
That is still how Denwyn is run: the founder is the first user. Features ship when they fix something he actually needed, and the guides get written when a real question came up, usually about how European taxes treat an accumulating ETF or when the 4% rule stops being a useful shortcut.
Who Auric is
Auric is Denwyn's guide: a dragon who has seen a thousand markets and still gets a kick out of compound interest. Auric fronts the lessons and signs the guides, so the voice stays warm and plain. Behind the byline, Alex writes and reviews every guide and every number in them. Auric is a character, not a person, and Denwyn never pretends otherwise.
What Denwyn is, and is not
Denwyn is an education and tracking tool. It shows you where your money is, what your FIRE date looks like under assumptions you can see and change, and lets you practise judgment with friends using paper picks that never move real money. It explains, you decide.
Denwyn is not an investment adviser and is not a broker. Nothing on the site, including the AI Council in Pro, tells you what to buy or sell, and no feature ever places a trade or holds your money. Your investing happens at your broker, where it belongs.
How it is funded
Tracking, the FIRE calculator, circles, picks and every lesson are free forever, with no card. A single Pro tier pays for the servers and the AI: it adds the AI Council, Auto-Rebalance and deep analytics. There are no ads, no affiliate broker links and no selling of data. If Denwyn recommends nothing, it also has nothing to sell you on commission.
